San Clemente Cathedral, Pisco

The San Clemente Cathedral in the main plaza of Pisco, Ica. One of the hardest hit cities from the quake that hit on August 15th of last year (2007). The church collapsed as more than 200 people were attending the Feast of the Assumption, which marks the Virgin Mary's ascent to Heaven. As many as 100 deaths were reported within the cathedral.
