The Sleeping Inca 2

Sunrise and an hour into the hike! Here we are in Nuevo Progresso, check out the Peruvian style of Ruth in her chullo.











Sunrise!









The first nevado, snow-capped mountain, sighting! This peak is called Cayesh and stands tall at 18, 769 ft. It's located at the end of Quebrada Carhuascancha (Carhuascancha Valley).






This cactus is called the Asiento de la Suegra, or The Mother-In-Law's Chair. Hmm... doesn't look that comfortable..
