At the casa…

I just arrived to my house at 12:30pm. I do not feel well and am looking forward to a little nap before setting off to a meeting. There are thirteen men, three women, two babies, and my family out in the courtyard (no exaggerating, I went out and counted). Pachamanca again. But this time for the workmen so there are two piles of red hot rocks, a radio that is actually not blaring nearly as loud as it could be, jettison strewn about (ladders, wood, corrugated tin, rocks, men, livestock, rope, and let’s not forget lots of mud pits to avoid), and a gringa with the runs. Did I mention all of us share the same bathroom?
