Running again...

After three weeks of physical therapy in Lima and a month of physical therapy here in San Marcos, I’ve started to try out my running legs again… (haha, get it? Like sea legs, but running… no? ok, fine then.) Just very short runs (don’t worry, Mom) around twenty minutes and then seeing how my knee feels. Anyway, not the point of the story… So I was running this morning and I received the cutest response to my running around that I’ve ever gotten in Peru (usually responses are, “Where are you going?” or “Are you doing a marathon?”) but this cute lady (dressed in full campo garb) started running in the opposite direction and shouted out, “¿Quién gana? ¿Quién gana?” [Who will win?] It was so cute.
